Conductor – String Orchestra

Ryan Chislett is a Violinist, Violist, Singer, Composer and Arranger who graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. He originally studied Composition in his first year, then changed his major to Viola Performance to expand his musical opportunities. He is a member of the Gold Coast String Quartet, Northern Rivers Symphony Orchestra, The Blenders and Blenders Youth Chorus and his barbershop quartet, Sunday’s Best.

Ryan has had original compositions played by the Gold Coast String Quartet and arrangements performed by The Blenders (Barbershop Chorus) and Serotonin (Griffith University a cappella ensemble). Ryan currently works as a Strings Tutor at King’s Christian College teaching all year levels across two campuses conducting their ensembles and teaching private students from Preschool through to Grade 12. Ryan is proud to work with the GCYO as Conductor for the String Orchestra.
