Eddie is an expert Woodwind tutor & Conductor and currently in demand as a professional player. He performs in numerous bands both within the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Whether it is with the Andrews Sisters Tribute Band, QLD Pops Orchestra as lead Alto Sax & Clarinet or down in Byron Bay with a renowned Funk band ( SOUL’D), Eddie thrives in his current role as the Director of the Gold Coast Youth Orchestra Big Band and Co-Manager of Paradise Point Music. As a veteran of more than 3000 gigs and recording sessions of various nature and being a versatile performer, Eddie is aware of the facets of professionalism required to guide students throughout their journey in Music. As a respected AMEB teacher of Saxophone & Clarinet, he is often asked for advice in many music related fields, from career options to exam programming. With a vibrant personality he loves to inspire students as they embark on their own journey of Big Band Music.

Eddie served as a professional musician for 20 years with the Australian Defence Force Bands. A career highlight was being the Big Band leader of the prestigious Royal Military College Band Duntroon ACT, where he was awarded an Australia Day Medallion for his leadership & inspiration.

Eddie brings a dynamic enthusiasm to music-making and commenced with the GCYO IN 2018.
